The pilot projects in the MP4 project partnership are a vital aspect to the successful outcome of improving the quality of life in an area. They provide real experiences and data on the implementation of place-keeping partnerships, facilitated through European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) investments and partners’ own contributions to place-making activities.
Physical improvements are targeted towards open spaces in deprived neighbourhoods in rapidly growing and expanding regions. They will be planned, implemented and evaluated on the grounds of five cross-cutting and transnational issues:
